John and his wife Anne have been members of Resurrection Presbyterian Church (OPC) in Matthews, NC since 1986 and he has served as an elder at RPC since 1995. They were blessed with four children and five grandchildren. John retired from Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. after 37 years of service. He golfs as a hobby in his spare time.
